[image] Did you know that: Butterfly wings are covered in thousands of tiny chitin scales (like microscopic shingles!) that give the colors & structure — they never heal or regrow, so every tear tells a story of close calls & adventures. One more fact, they only live 1 to 9 month

[image] I had 1 hour to spare yesterday, so I headed straight for our little Botanical Gardens here in Clovis and this is what I saw!

[image] Another beautiful walk through the Gardens. I only live around 6 minutes away, I go a lot!

[image] We have a lot of Oak trees where here in California, I'm so in love with them. It's hard to say how old this one is, but I know from it's size that it's very very old.
