[image] A 9th inning pinch hit appearance made last night Luis Garcia Jr.'s 638th game with the #Nats. That's 7th most in team history (2005-present), passing Trea Turner. Crazy to think that we've seen only 6 guys play in more games than Lui...

[image] RIP Davey Lopes Served as the #Nats first base coach twice. First, under Frank Robinson in 2006. Then under Dusty Baker 2016-17. Spent a decade with the Dodgers as a player, earning All-Star nods each of his last 4 seasons there. MLB steals leader in 1975 (77).

[text] The #Nats season just feels over. 6 blown leads this week. They can't hold anymore. The bullpen renders the other 18 guys' effort as 0. They're bad AND they know it now. Nats basically need a 9-run lead (because we've seen how 8 goes), or they need to be at home and walk off.

[image] Lmao I loved that a bunch random fellow #Nats fans heard I completed 30 parks and hopped in a picture with me after tonight's curly W. 😂 Good shit, everyone! Go Nats!

[image] Seriously, congrats to Matt LeCroy. He played for the #Nats for part of the 2006 season, sure, but as a coach, he's been a lifer in the organization. He's held some role, mostly minor league manager, in the org since 2008. Very well-regarded, well-liked coach. Happy for him.
