[image] This 1-72 Spitfire is getting somewhere Ive just no idea where, weathering is underway

[image] 33 decals make up this underside F-16 thunderbird scheme plus patches which were needed fortunately the decal sheet includes an extra strip as a spare to use as patches, I would liken it to wallpapering trying to match patterns done the best I can with it

[image] So wanted to build my 1-72 Eduard MK-V B Spit with closed canopy but no way it fits why ? Eduard chose to leave out vital information on the instructions if you want closed canopy. My instructions on the left, instructions I found on the net on the right, so open canopy it is 😡

[image] This little 1-72 scale MK V Spitfire has 35 parts including PE and one decal just to make up the cockpit. Dear Eduard is this not a bit OTT at such a small scale?

[image] When I build the first of these two Spitfires it took 4 days to get the cockpit together on this second one just two days 1-72 Eduard MKV B Remembered to cut the fuselage halves this time for closed canopy

[image] Undercarriage is now installed. I’m working a lot with 1-72 at the moment (WWI will be 1-48) it’s teaching me to keep weathering staining etc in scale so at larger scales it won’t seem so daunting & knowing when to stop!! that’s the theory anyway quite enjoyable tbh
