[text] A Season Too Soon There was a winter that arrived before its season, & stayed long enough to become a way of living. When spring finally placed a flower in those hands, they closed..Not from cold but from knowing what hands could lose.

[text] I watch the stars disappear into darkness, & wonder if I could too. Not forever,not completely, just enough to feel nothing for a while. & somewhere beneath that endless sky, I forget how loud being alive can feel.
