[text] And this isn't your average memeshitter project. I've been working on this daily for the last few weeks. You can see all the commits on Github, as recently as today. The fly keeps getting better and better. I'm not satisfied with just 4% ROI. I know it can trade better.

[text] At this point I'm getting the model together for training. It'll take a good chunk of time and then it'll be something you can run on your own PC. It doesn't need a fancy GPU to make money. It just needs the computer you're using now.

[image] A little technical explanation of how it works. The $FLY is trained by a gradient boosted model (sklearn). It then competes with that GBM to make sure the neuroplastic fly actually learns. And it does. The fly is beating the standard machine learning model, hands down.

[text] BUSY WEEK! Kalshi data backfill has completed. The $FLY is now training on how to trade Kalshi prediction markets. Should take a few days.

[text] Small update: I realized that I had the codebase configured for just Mac, so I've pushed a new version that supports CUDA and CPU-only to HuggingFace. You'll can just re-pull and restart it will update everything automatically.

[text] The HuggingFace distribution is building as I type this. The delay has been the training corpus and guardrails. The fly is intended to trade real money and that needs a kill switch on draw down and other protections. Stay tuned!

[text] Update! Neuroplasticity seems to be degrading fly performance as opposed to a fly that can’t learn. I’m currently investigating why. I’m guessing it’s an implementation issue but I want to resolve this before uploading.

[text] RH backfill was stupid slow via the RPC so I got some commercial endpoints to make things go faster. As before, full datasets will be posted to HF along with the final trained model.
