Pittsburgh Penguins

[video] TOMAS GALVAS WHAT A GOAL!!!

[text] Penguins projected lineup against STL Chinakhov- Kevin Hayes- Jagr Koivunen- Avery Hayes- McGroarty Donk- Rutherford B. Hayes- Flibbet Bonino- Nikita Malkin- Krepps Shea- Alex Letang Ruhwedel- That NCAA guy they just signed Iceburg- Dubas Fleury/Murashov

[image] With tonight’s win, WBS advance to the Atlantic Division Final. Sergei Murashov was unreal: • 37 Saves • 1 GA • .974 SV%

[image] Sergei Murashov with a monster game today! 33 saves, 1 GA, .971 SV% Locked in from start to finish, confident, calm, and untouchable all night.

[text] UFA's that I could see Dubas legitimately going after: - Mason Marchment (his biggest regret) - Matej Blumel (tried to get him last summer) - Marrio Ferraro (EK65 old partner, solid defensively) - Eeli Tolvanen (Seems like a Dubas type of add)

[text] TL;DR from Dubas presser. From what I gathered from it, at least: - Team needs to be a lot better defensively - Need mid-to-late 20's real difference maker players via trade (sounds like big game hunting is coming) - Geno staying seems likely - Mantha gone seems likely -

[text] Sidney Crosby is a grinder. Bryan Rust is a grinder. Rickard Rakell has shown to be a grinder. There’s no reason why this line isn’t together, battling pucks down low. Chinakhov plays a fast transition game, similar to Geno, there’s no reason why they aren’t together.

[text] Josh Yohe on Jason Robertson from the 2 For Talking podcast tonight: - He can still be traded that's in play still. - We know the Pens are very interested in him. - Been told Robertson would be happy to come to Pittsburgh. - Thinks the Dallas Stars don't want to trade him,

[image] Kris Letang’s son Alex begging for Robertson on IG 😂

[video] BILL ZONNON stays RED HOT. 3 games with WBS, and he’s scored in all 3. Every time he steps on the ice, he’s making a difference. The future is looking very bright.

[image] Sergei Murashov was outstanding again tonight. -23/24 saves -0.937 SV% With Pittsburgh’s goaltending struggling lately, he might be ready to step up.

[text] T-minus 4 hours until the NHL Draft, both Pagnotta and Friedman said they expect a crazy next few hours and Friedge specifically mentioned The Penguins as one of the more active teams right now.

[text] One thing did catch me off guard today, the most "tampering" type of statement that I've ever heard Dubas make, he said "if you're a mid-to-late 20's difference maker that is unhappy in your situation and has control of where you go, you should want to come to Pittsburgh." That

[image] Big night for playoff chances:

[video] BILL ZONNON SCORES!!!! In the money zone he buries his 2nd goal in his 2nd game! Difference maker.

[text] Okay, time for some rambling: I had hope with how we played down the stretch. This team completely fell apart when they had to step up though, 1/9 periods they played well. It's over, tear it down, Dubas. Trade as many of Rust, Rakell, Karlsson, Novak, Girard as you can.

[image] Harrison Brunicke’s season ended last night in the first round. A tough, unexpected year across three levels: NHL: 9 GP | 1G, 0A, 1PT AHL: 5 GP | 0G, 4A, 4PTS WHL: 28 GP | 2G, 24A, 26PTS Made Pittsburgh out of camp and showed flashes, but with no AHL eligibility early on, he

[text] WBS' season ends in the Eastern Conference Final, but the Penguins' top prospects gave fans plenty to be excited about. • Sergei Murashov: 15 GP | 2.11 GAA | .931 SV% • Tristan Broz: 15 GP | 3G-8A-11PTS • Ville Koivunen: 15 GP | 4G-5A-9PTS • Rutger McGroarty: 15 GP |

[text] With Viggo Bjorck being a huge Crosby fan, loving the Pens, and talking about them at the draft combine (a lot). Plus, the smoke that is around the Pens trying to trade up into the top-10 of the draft right now. I really feel like we may take a serious attempt at getting him in a

[video] Harrison Brunicke keeps dominating the WHL. 3-point night, showcasing his full skillset and offensive talent. He now has 6 points in his last 2 games. He’s special.

[text] I have seen or heard rumors of the Penguins trying to trade-up to get Viggo Bjorck from too many different places now, that it has to be true. If we manage to do it, I will go to PPG Paints and build the Dubas statue with my bare hands.

[text] And with that Ron Francis hiring, Shane Wright, you are a Pittsburgh Penguin.

[image] This is the EK I hoped we would get when we first traded for him. Sully really shackled him for 2 full years.

[video] Harrison Brunicke is a magician. Blows past defenders with elite skating, attacks the net without hesitation, and then drops a perfect dime. This is his 19th points since being sent down to juniors.

[image] Sergei Murashov has opened his playoff run strong: - 2 GP - 2.04 GAA - .932 SV% If he keeps this level of consistency, WBS has every chance to make a deep run.

[text] GM Show: - GMKD didn’t like the rushed pre-szn + it hurts the younger players - expects KK to pop here - Carlile will be more active on the ice + more physical and will fit well with any of our young mobile d - TVR’s value lies in versatility of being with vets or youth

[image] Sergei Murashov, drafted by PIT in 2022, currently has a .943 save percentage and 1.74 GAA in nine playoff games for Wilkes. Since 2022-23 (his D+1 season), here’s his save percentage per season. Has never went under .910. I think it’s becoming more likely we see Silovs/Murashov.

[text] 👀Ryan Miller and Bill Zonnon survive and remain on their ATO's, it would seem.

[video] Will Horcoff leads Michigan past Zam Plante and Minnesota Duluth in a Frozen Four semifinal thriller. Horcoff with 1G, Plante answers with 2A. What a game. All eyes on the final vs Denver.

[video] Mikhail Ilyin scores his 1st goal of the playoffs! Great movement by Broz and Brunicke

[image] Bill Zonnon just got rewarded. Signed his ELC yesterday and fully deserves it. He’s put together a strong season: 14G, 31A, 45PTS in 35GP. Missed time with injury but got right back to his game. High motor, relentless, big net-front presence with a great shot. His game should

[video] This goal was pulled off but what a play it was by A. Hayes, McGroarty and Brunicke.

[video] Emil Pieniniemi scores the OTW!!! Absolute bomb to get his 1st goal of the season at the best time possible!

[image] Ville Koivunen is named AHL Player of the Month!! This kid is incredibly talented. It will take the time he needs, but I’m confident he has everything to be impactful in the NHL.

[text] OMG! PLEASE DUBAS! This is the LHD target if ever there was one.

[video] Ville Koivunen scores!!!! The kid is dangerous every shift, with 11 points in his last 6 games and absolutely dominating!

[image] Gabriel D’Aigle was outstanding today, coming up with multiple huge saves when it mattered most. 38/39 saves .974 SV% He was a a main piece of that OT win.

[image] here comes today's penguin, Kindy!! #letsgopens

[text] Happy "one week until the NHL Draft" day to all those who celebrate. Mr. Kyle Dubas, please make a trade, or sign Chinakhov today, thanks. Sincerely, - Every Penguins Fan

[video] Will Horcoff scores!!!! His 23rd of the season!

[video] McGroarty to Koivunen is a lethal combination!! That’s Koivunen’s 11th goal of the season and he extends his point streak to 5 games.

[video] RUTGER McGROARTY SCORES!!!!! From behind the net off the goaltender and in! What a play. His 3rd goal of the playoffs!

[video] Ville Koivunen SCORES!!!! Beautiful combination between Broz and Ville. Huge goal for his 4th of the series!

[image] Kale Dach’s season comes to an end and what a story it was. A 7th round pick who completely shattered expectations in his first WHL season. 70 GP | 37G | 43A | 80PTS Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Next season he’ll join Penn State a program on the rise and quickly

[image] Absolute MASTERCLASS from WBS tonight! Sergei Murashov:30/32 saves(.938 SV%) Avery Hayes: 3G Ville Koivunen: 2G Tanner Howe: 2G Rutger McGroarty: 2A

[text] Two mornings in a row where Sid has skated now. Great sign.

[video] RUTGER McGROARTY WINS IT!!!! With 3 minutes to play, Rutger comes up CLUTCH and buries the game-winner to even the series at 2-2. His 4th goal of the playoffs!

[video] McGroarty scores!!! His 7th goal of the season with WBS!
